Chat with me!

I decided to make a page for discussing things that interest me, such as:

  1. The Environment
  2. Veganism
  3. Ideas that could spread change
  4. Science
  5. Questions no one knows the answer to (Where did we come from? What is the meaning of life? Did we evolve over time?)
  6. Evolution
  7. Climate Change
  8. Psychology
  9. Any questions you would like to ask me
  10. Anything you want to know my opinion on
  11. Feminism (equality)

Just type the number that you want to discuss in the comments below and I’m sure we can have a chat. Thank you! 🙂

  1. 11. Fellow feminist here. I just wanted to ask you what you think of the free bleed movement? It’s said to cause infections, I saw some photos on the internet of people holding jars full of their period blood. Is it okay for me to say that I was a little disgusted that she saved it?

    1. I think that these girls have good intentions, because they don’t want to support an industry that overcharges them for feminine products (the companies know that women NEED it) yea I guess it’s a little gross, but we need to remember that periods are natural and nothing to be grossed out about. 🙂

I am worried that they will get an infection though. It’s possible. Even in the medieval times they used cloth.

I think I’ll stick to supporting the free the nipple movement 😉

      1. Me too. What about the saving the blood? I just don’t think women should be embarrassed about something so natural. People know you do have it whether you tell them or not. I only hate that the feminine products are not cruelty free 😦 Thanks for responding!!!

      2. The girl probably did that because she wanted the photo to go viral, which it did. I agree. Men get so disgusted by it, that’s why women feel ashamed. It’s wrong.

Yeah, I agree. Feminine products are SO overpriced.

      3. I agree. But now men don’t take the movement seriously. They just think of the girl who did that. I saw the comments and everyone was disgusted. It brought attention, the bad kind. Now when people think of feminists they think of the freaks who want to kill men and save blood. They only think of the negative part. I’m not ashamed, every woman has it…

    1. There is no proof that we were created by God in 7 days. To me that is scientifically impossible. The Bible is not proof either, as there is no evidence that it is God’s word. So in fact, no one does know the answers to these questions. There could be scientific evidence, but no facts.

      1. Oh, well I would make a post about it, but it’s really long and I don’t feel like explaining it. Basically though, there is no proof that the bible is God’s word (it’s based on faith), I don’t like all of the messages in the bible, I don’t believe Jesus is our savior, and I don’t like church and what they say in it. I would rather spend my time on facts. This is just my personal opinion. Understand now?

    1. I don’t have an ideal government. I never studied Plato’s views or religious beliefs so I have no idea. All I know is that humans serve no purpose to this Earth, in fact, like Gary Yourofsky says, if humans were extracted from this Earth, the entire planet would benefit from it. I don’t think humans deserve to be here, because we are such a destructive species. That doesn’t mean I want to murder everyone and kill myself too like some psycho, I just mean that we aren’t as important as we think we are, so I don’t care about politics.

      1. How many species are on this planet? A lot! So why would whiptails be fundamental to contribute to evolution? Remember the finches? They happened to evolve very rapidly. So rapidly that we could see evolution before our very eyes! But not all creatures are like finches, so it doesn’t matter if one species can’t evolve correctly. This doesn’t disprove Darwin’s theory at all, because evolution is still possible, even if not every species is contributing.

      2. Like how they didn’t know how the puffin kept fish in it’s mouth? And how they now “know” all about the dinosaur’s evolution and how people first came to this continent. You can’t find out those answers on Earth, civilizations don’t last long enough to do that much research.

  2. 2. What is even more hypocritical than human rights activists (I personally don’t agree that they are hypocrites, but I see your point) is animal rights activists who condone slaughtering animals, or people who say that dogs are family members, but chickens and cows are food. I used to think that was so funny. Now it is seems kind of dark.

    Like

    1. I’ve never seen animal rights activists slaughter animals? And if they did it was probably necessary or you don’t know the full story. I agree with the cow thing, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats are all equal in my eyes. You can’t simply say, “Oh, I’m going to eat this animal, and then love this one.” It just doesn’t work that way.

  3. 8. Lately I have been studying human incentive, and what people recognize as wealth. It seems to easily destroy liberalism, even without a concience. Ho do you think it is possible to be a liberal? Is it just that people destroy their minds because of self-interest and brain-washing? Or is it just logic holes?

    Like

    1. I’m not liberal so I don’t know why I would be a good person to answer this question, but everybody is selfish, conservative, Democrat, women, men, every human being is selfish. Liberals (most of them) actually have one goal, and that’s to discard traditional values and be open to new ideas. IMO, conservatives are the ones that need to be careful of brainwashing, not liberals.

      1. Like I always say, no ONE person is correct. That’s why I don’t have a firm stand on the right side or left side. I will admit though that I am a lot less conservative, but I’m more in the middle.

  4. 3. A great deal of people (including Kaitlyn) seem to judge ideas by people who have them. For instance, people think that feminism is bad because there are idiots who say they are feminists. What if people stopped using of the ad hominem attacks? People would make much better decisions if that were so. Kaitlyn thought she had defeated Washington’s and Jefferson’s arguments because they had slaves, when really, all she did was proved that they were not always right, which we already knew.

    1. I think that America is so moronic, they are the 2nd country that contributes most to pollution, and they haven’t done anything to help. It’s not about the government, it’s about the idiotic citizens who don’t even believe in climate change, even when there is SUBSTANTIAL evidence…

      1. I think that with 7 billion people on Earth, and 70% of the Amazon forest gone, animal agriculture contributing to 40% of greenhouse gas emissions, public transportation from planes, cars, trucks, buses, trains, and helicopters, and tons of water depletion from raising farm animals, leading to the destruction of the ozone layer, humans play a huge part…

      2. Then I guess you don’t have a valid argument.

Out of curiosity though, what does your religion say? (Also, side question: Do you believe that your religion is the one TRUE religion and that all other religions are farce?)

        Liked by 1 person

      3. It says that man has dominion over the Earth. Not to destroy it, but to get a living from it and take care of it.

Answer to side question, yes I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only religion with all of the truths of the Gospel, and tho only one with direct revelation from God through prophets, and the only church with the Priesthood.

        Like

      4. But how do you feel about man destroying Earth? What do you believe we should do instead?

So you believe all other religions are incorrect? See, this is the problem that I have with religion. They always claim that THEY are the true religion. That’s why I choose to have no religion. I do believe in God/spirit/universe or whatever you want to call him/it, but my god does not send plagues upon people, my god does not hate, get angry, etc. My god loves unconditionally, but he made us “sinners” so that we can fight through this life and break through our instincts. We do have the power.

      5. You’re right. All the Earth does is give to us, and this is what we do in return. Like I say, we are a destructive species. Also, animals NEVER did anything to us, so why do we eat them? So screwed.

        Like

      6. I would kill animals if I was lost in the woods and couldn’t find food, and I would also do it to protect people, but I can’t think of any other good reasons. I am not absolutely sure that fishing for food when other food is available is bad, I just personally don’t want to do it.

      7. I would never eat another animal in any circumstance. It’s not my life to take. Plus, I love animals because they are innocent. They don’t murder or destroy this earth, they peacefully live on it. (Although I do hate carnivores.)

You’re right. Nobody should eat meat or fish when there is other food available.

      8. Well, sorry to point this out, but you are a little biased… You are human after all. You believe that humans are more innocent than animals? Sorry to break it to you, but like I said, humans murder, steal, lie, cheat, and sin. What do animals do? Graze peacefully. Babies are not cute in my honest opinion. Studies show that they can actually cause a mother to go mentally insane or get disorders….

      9. What’s true? Humans are more innocent than animals? You shouldn’t use your religion to prove your point at all. It is not needed. Babies seem cute to you because you can manipulate them any way you want, and they will listen to you, and people can brainwash them.

      10. My God does not hate either. He wipes people out with plagues to keep them from sinning, because they have crossed a point where they are not going to stop getting worse. It really is a mercy, but people don’t get to decide when it is given, only He does.

      11. I don’t believe that. Although I do believe in Jesus Christ, I don’t think he is the way to “heaven.” I don’t believe in heaven or hell. Personally I think someone made that up to scare people into being good.

  5. Regarding Jace: You think you’re so clever sending me to here. Fine Jace, you win. First off, you said Jefferson/Washington were conservatives or whatever. Well, they were a conservative like you and they owned slaves. That was their idea, to have slaves. I don’t agree with all of their politics and I don’t have to. People must have said, “oh our president has slaves, I should have slaves”, so he did stand for slavery.

      1. So you’re basically inviting chaos and mayhem to this country. You want people to be allowed to discriminate? Take a look at the Constitution. You aren’t allowed to even discriminate when hiring people, so you basically just admitted that you don’t agree with the Constitution. Then women, blacks, LGBT people, etc will NEVER get a chance, because of your idea.

        Like

      2. I think they do have the political right to be discriminatory. It will only hurt themselves and the person they are discriminating against in this life, and they will have to answer for it in the next life, though. Just like homosexuals have a political right to have homosexual relations, but it will only hurt themselves in this life and the next.

      3. It not only hurts themselves and the victim, it shapes culture and society, it would create a society where it’s okay to bully and harm others. It creates chaos. We are humans, but we have the capability to be better than that. By the way, homosexuals aren’t doing anything to others, so you really have no right to say that they are hurting themselves. They are doing what god made them do…

      4. People have a political right to not be harmed. If there are enough people to vote for the laws, there are enough people to employ people discriminated against, and to personally stand up to bullies. And I know homosexuals aren’t harming anyone else, that’s why they have a political right to do it. They make a choice, but I am not one to judge wether or not they are weaker than me for making that choice. I mind my own business, but I make it clear that I do not condone it anymore than I condone cutting yourself because you have depression. It only makes more pain.

      5. Homosexuals are born that way… they don’t choose to be gay. Why would they choose a life where they are bullied and ridiculed? They are simply being themselves. When religions shame homosexuals, that’s when it goes too far. I’m a nice person, and I usually tolerate religion, but if it supports discrimination, that’s when I start to get angry.

      6. Would you hire someone who had bad enough judgement to cut himself? Why would he choose to cut himself? People make fun of people who intentionally cut themselves. I don’t make fun of anyone, but I wouldn’t hire someone who would deliberately violate the clear standards of my company, and neither would my dad, and neither should anyone. They certainly can if they want, anyone can choose whatever they want as long as they don’t hurt anyone else. People who kill or hurt gays should be arrested. People who bully them without physical contact should not. You can plug your ears, and/or walk away. You don’t have to listen to hateful people. I would die to protect a gays rights just as fast as I would die to protect mine. My church does not support violence, hateful words or racial discrimination in any way. You do not either. I chose I life where I will be bullied, ridiculed, beaten, and probably killed, but I love it.

      7. People would probably think I was making an inappropriate joke, and merely give me a glare. You can even get beat up for being tall, or for being complimented by a teacher, so I’m pretty sure that if they knew that I was sincere that I might not live to tell the tale.

Let’s just agree to strongly disagree about religion.

  7. 2 – I took some photos but I don’t know how to send them to you. I’m not sure if you’ve even heard of Durian Rider, or what he’s been saying (he’s a vegan) and you are under no obligation to write about it or anything (please don’t feel pressured – it’s not my intent – I just saw it and immediately thought of you!) but I saw that some women from the vegan community are being attacked personally by him, and some people from the vegan community want to ‘rise up’ against him. While I don’t think ‘fighting fire with fire’ is the best solution, I just thought you might be interested/curious. I took a few snapshots that would explain the whole thing a whole lot better, so I can send them to you (via email, maybe?) if you are. But no pressure! I honestly don’t mind either way. I just wanted to let you know!

      1. I think he’s Australian, but I’m not sure. I only heard about him recently because he posted about how women are “stupid” for staying in DV relationships and posting this massive rant about this woman who’d been badly beaten – with photos – and saying how it was “all her fault”. Anyway, I’ll email you the snapshots now! You don’t have to do anything with them or anything – I may end up writing about him – but apparently, a lot of people in the vegan community are really upset with him because they don’t want people to think that’s what it’s like to be a vegan (which I imagine would be distressing). Anyway, it’s interesting nonetheless!

      2. I just got your email. I am furious. Thank you so much for showing me the photos. If I get more information on this topic, I will definitely make a post about it too. Yes, he is Australian. I will also be protesting to get his moronic face off of YouTube and the internet in general. What a sick freak.

I believe in the freedom to have a gun, (law abiding citizens) but not to have one without a psychological evaluation, background check, etc. Freedom is freedom, but sometimes it can get out of hand. I am against “freedom” to be racist, sexist, etc. You already know that.

No offense, but I never will. Not because I’m not open, but because I have considered myself most of those things before I realized the truth.
